Minnesota Farmers’ Market Association

Our work included generating local and regional media coverage for National Farmers Market Week events in the Twin Cities, spotlighting the importance of farmers’ markets and the communities they nourish.

The Minnesota Farmers’ Market Association provides essential leadership, programs, and support for the 375 farmers’ markets across Minnesota and the Minnesota Tribal Nations. We were proud to support the Association’s mission through strategic media outreach and communications.

Our work included generating local and regional media coverage for National Farmers Market Week events in the Twin Cities, spotlighting the importance of farmers’ markets and the communities they nourish.

We also shared insights at the Northern Growers and Marketers Conference, presenting on effective, budget-conscious traditional and digital marketing strategies to help markets expand their reach and grow attendance.

In 2021, when Minnesota’s Market Bucks program—which helps lower-income families access fresh, healthy food—faced potential defunding, we played a key role in advocacy. We pitched and helped ghostwrite an op-ed for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, urging lawmakers to preserve the program. The piece was published, and funding was secured—helping sustain this vital support for families and local farmers.
